The formation of Bhabanipur Temple Renovation, Development and Management Committee:
An advertisement was published in the daily Karatoa to collect new members from the Hindu community from all over the country of Bangladesh for the Bhabanipur Temple Renovation, Development and Management Committee and membership forms were distributed for this purpose from on behalf of the committee. Around seven hundred people from the Hindu community took and filled those forms and most of them were present in the general meeting as councillors for the formation of new committee. That general meeting took place at Sherpur Upazilla Parishad Auditorium at 10 am on the 27th August 2010. The Temple Committee President Sree Utsav Kumar Bhowmick (passed away on September 25, 2019) presided over the meeting. Advocate Subroto Chowdhury honorable President of Bangladesh Puja Utjapon Parishad , Advocate Rabindra Ghosh of Supreme Court Dhaka and President of Bangladesh Minority Watch, Assisstant agent Sree Krishna Kamol Roy of Natore Raj Debottor Estate, Sree Ganesh Ghosh Vice President of Bangladesh Puja Utjapon Parishad's Central Committee and President of Pabna District Branch, Advocate Sree Bimol Kumar Das member of Advisory Council of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Puja Utjapon Parishad and President of Sirajgonj District Puja Utjapon Parishad, Sree Khaghendra Nath Saha executive member of Puja Utjapon Parishad's Central Committee and President of Natore JoyKali Mandir were present on that General Meeting as guests.
In the presence of above leaders, the Executive Committee comprising of 71 members was formed with Sree Utsav Kumar Bhowmick (passed away on September 25, 2019) as the President, Sree Amrito Lal Saha as the General Secretary and Journalist Sree Nimai Ghosh as the Organizing Secretary by the casting of vote of about seven hundred councillors of various districts and upazillas of Bangladesh.
Utpalendu Dev Bacchu served as the Chairman of the above Election Conducting Committee and Subject Selection Committee comprising of seven members.
